Walk by Faith ("the App") is operated by Everyday Earnings LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Information We Collect

When you use Walk by Faith, we may collect the following information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Session data: Which trust breakdowns you select, session timestamps, surrender confirmations, and session history.
• Onboarding responses: Your answers to the personalization quiz during onboarding (frequency, duration, goals, preferred time).
• Reflections: Free-text entries you submit through the "Tell Me More" feature. These are processed to generate a personalized pastoral reflection and stored with your session history.
• Subscription information: Your subscription status and plan tier. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store credit card numbers or payment details.
• Device information: Push notification tokens, device type, and operating system version for delivering daily reminders and ensuring app compatibility.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and personalize your Walk by Faith experience, including session content, pattern tracking, and guided tracks.
• Generate AI-powered pastoral reflections based on your session context and free-text entries.
• Send daily reminders at your chosen time if you enable notifications.
• Manage your account and subscription status.
• Improve the App through aggregated, anonymized usage data.

AI-Powered Reflections

The "Tell Me More" feature uses artificial intelligence to generate pastoral reflections. When you submit a reflection, your free-text entry and session context (breakdown type and Scripture reference) are sent to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) for processing. These submissions are not used to train AI models. The generated reflection is stored in your account history.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service with encryption at rest and in transit. We use row-level security policies to ensure that your data is accessible only to you. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Cloud database hosting and authentication.
• OpenAI: AI reflection generation (only when you use the "Tell Me More" feature).
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment verification.
• Apple/Google: Payment processing through their respective app stores.
• Expo: Push notification delivery.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings or the App's settings screen.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Children's Privacy

Walk by Faith is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
