Joseph
Sold by his own brothers, and he ended up saving their lives.
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. — Genesis 50:20
Jacob loved Joseph more than his other sons and made him a coat of many colours, and his brothers could not speak peaceably to him. Then Joseph told them his dreams, that their sheaves bowed to his, and that settled it. They stripped him, threw him in a pit, and sold him for twenty pieces of silver. In Egypt he served Potiphar faithfully, refused his master's wife, and got prison for his trouble. He interpreted dreams for two fellow prisoners, and the one who went free forgot him for two full years. When Pharaoh dreamed of seven fat cattle and seven lean, Joseph was pulled out of the dungeon, shaved, and set over all Egypt. Years later his brothers stood in front of him begging for grain and did not know him, and when he finally told them who he was, he wept so loudly the Egyptians heard it. He told them that what they meant for evil, God meant unto good.
