I Feel Broken

Something inside doesn't work the way it used to. A relationship. A belief. A part of yourself you thought was solid. God doesn't throw away broken things. He's the only one who can put them back together in a way that's stronger than before.

Scripture for this moment

Genesis 38:26

And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.

Matthew 9:13

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Jesus eats with sinners on purpose. If you've felt too dirty for His table, you're exactly the kind of guest He came for.

Numbers 21:9

And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Just look and live. Jesus said He must be lifted up so that whoever looks at Him in faith would be saved.

Mark 5:34

And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
