I Feel Like Giving Up

Genesis 8:22

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Every season of waiting has a morning. God remembers you, and the flood will not have the final word.

Genesis 16:13

And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

Even when you're overlooked by everyone else, God sees you in the wilderness. You are not invisible to Him.

Exodus 7:5

And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.

Every idol Egypt worshiped, God dismantled one by one. He still tears down the false gods we've bowed to.

Exodus 17:12

But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Sometimes victory depends on the ones holding up your arms. Find your Aaron and Hur, and let them help you stand.

Numbers 11:23

And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’s hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.

Complaining chokes gratitude. And God sends help to those who admit the burden is too heavy.

Joshua 6:20

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

Sometimes obedience looks foolish before it looks victorious. Keep marching — walls don't last against a shouting faith.

Joshua 11:23

So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.

Persistence wins the war. Keep taking ground — rest comes after the battles are fought.

Joshua 13:1

Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.

There's always more territory — in life, in faith, in prayer. Don't stop possessing just because you're tired.
