I Feel Overwhelmed

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Before anything else existed, God did. The same voice that spoke galaxies into being still speaks into your life today.

Genesis 6:8

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

When everything around you is falling apart, God still sees the one who walks with Him. Your faithfulness is never invisible.

Genesis 9:13

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

Every rainbow is a receipt. God keeps His word, and His promises outlast every storm you walk through.

Genesis 33:4

And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.

The reunion you dread may become the one you cherish. Sometimes the enemy in your imagination was already ready to forgive.

Exodus 8:22

And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

God knows how to make a distinction. You are not forgotten in the land of your trouble.

Exodus 10:23

They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

In the deepest darkness around you, God can keep the light on in your home. Don't miss the mercy hidden in your walls.

Exodus 20:3

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

The commandments are not shackles — they are the shape of a life that flourishes with God at the center.

Numbers 2:2

Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father’s house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.

When God is at the center, everything else finds its place. Let Him be the middle, and your life falls into line.
