I Need a Fresh Start

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Before anything else existed, God did. The same voice that spoke galaxies into being still speaks into your life today.

Genesis 12:1

Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

Faith starts with one step out the door. You don't need the whole map — just the voice of the One calling.

Genesis 17:5

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

God gives new names to people He's writing into a bigger story. Whatever you've been called, He knows your real name.

Genesis 32:26

And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Some blessings only come after the limp. God would rather you wrestle with Him than walk away from Him.

Genesis 46:4

I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

Even at the end of your life, God still has new chapters. Don't be afraid to go where He is leading.

Exodus 40:34

Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

When God fills a place, nothing else can stay in charge. Let Him fill your heart until His glory overflows.

Leviticus 6:13

The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

Keep the fire burning. Even when it's just embers, don't let your love for God go cold.

Leviticus 14:2

This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

What you thought was permanent, God can undo. Cleansing is still His specialty.
